We recognise the primary school community as the ideal opportunity to offer non-stigmatising universal education about mental health issues, teach children how to look after themselves emotionally and develop a shared language that enables children, teachers and parents to talk about psychological wellbeing.
CUES provides a digital mental health and wellbeing programme for Year 4, designed and created by Child Clinical Psychologists and CBT Therapists from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
The development and design of our teacher-led school programme has been shaped throughout by feedback from children and teachers to ensure accessibility and acceptability.
The content, aims and objectives of CUES fit the statutory guidance outline of mental health perfectly and will offer a comprehensive programme using evidence based techniques in an engaging format.
